IHM's Annual Golf Outing made a successful comeback in 2013 after spending a few years on hiatus. The revitalized Committee will host our event in September at Black Bear Golf Club in Franklin, NJ. The group relies on the efforts of IHM parishioners and school parents whose work begins in mid-winter to organize the scenic autumnal outing with all proceeds directly benefitting the Parish Ministry.  Members divide and conquer all functions of the fundraising efforts, developing advertisement and sponsorship opportunities with local businesses and organizations as well as handling administrative issues around venue logistics including event registration and communications with participants. The event includes various contests including longest drive, closest to the pin, straightest drive, beat the pro, a putting contest and a hole-in-one contest. Our 2013 prize (albeit returned to the dealer since nobody scored an ace) was a 2014 Cadillac XTS Platinum Edition valued at over $60,000! 

The Committee welcomes the contributions of any volunteers (regardless of golf skill level or knowledge) who simply enjoy interacting with a great group of motivated people. Please consider volunteering your time and energy to this worthwhile social event.
