The new IHM STREAM Engineering Program is designed to engage our students in grades K-8 to become innovative learners by solving problems, collaborating, and using critical thinking to develop vital essential technology skill sets in various subjects. STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is our future, and our goal is to help each student develop their skills at all levels with a hands-on learning environment.
Students will be working in our STREAM Engineering classes that cover all subjects building their technology skills with new programs and a curriculum that develops the unique skill set of each student. We will take our students to new levels of education with our engineering lessons that let each student grow as a critical thinker in all STREAM components.
Our unique program will meet twice a week in our STREAM LAB and enjoy learning in an exciting technology environment.
After much success, our ACE program will now open to middle school students in grades 6-8 with a score of 95 and above in math and science. Along with our new elementary ACE class, the elementary students who qualify in grades 3-5 will be able to participate in the ACE program. Each ACE class will meet twice weekly in a pullout format to the STREAM Engineering Design LAB. The ACE students will participate in innovative high-level curriculum projects to be completed and showcased throughout the year. I am thrilled to be the Director of the new STREAM Engineering/ACE Programs here at IHM and instruct grades K-8. We are very excited for IHM to offer our students this exclusive STREAM and ACE program. I can’t wait to see our creative minds build the future!
