IHM 5th graders are designing board games that teach students how to take care of the Earth, and keep it clean for our future generations. They created concepts of keeping our Earth clean and the consequences of what happens when you don’t. Each group designed their own logo and full playing board game. Great minds are at work here at IHM!

The 5th grade completed their STREAM Animal and Plant Cells Project. The students researched how each organelle in the cells function and work with each other using the Discovery Education program. Each student built their cells and presented their cells to the class. They did a wonderful job and had a blast with differentiated hands on learning!
The IHM 5th grade students performed in their live Wax Museum kicking off Catholic Schools Week. Each student researched a person in history that made a positive historical impact on the world. After three months of research and planning, creating a 3D biography board of their person’s life, and writing a speech, they were ready to perform. Every student dressed in character, and presented their live Wax Museum bringing history to life. This project helps students develop many academic skills in cross curricular subjects. The show was a very exciting and informative experience for all.
